Application of clinical nursing path in nursing care of tuberculous pleurisy patients

Abstract：Obj ective:To observe the applied effect of clinical nursing path in nursing care of tuberculous pleurisy patients.Methods:A total of 62 ca-ses of tuberculous pleurisy patients were selected as observation group who were treated from January in 2013 to September in 2013.Another 62 cases of tuberculous pleurisy patients treated in 2012 were selected as control group,Patients in control group received routine care,patients in observa-tion group received care by clinical nursing path.After the intervention,the length of stay,hospital costs,compliance,satisfaction and treatment effect of the patients were evaluated.Results:Observation group total efficiency, compliance and satisfaction of patients in observation group were higher than that in control group;length of stay and hospital costs were less than that in control group,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion:The application effect of clinical nursing pathway is sig-nificant in nursing care of tuberculous pleurisy patients,and it can reduce patients’medical costs,speed up patients’recovery time and improve pa-tients’compliance and satisfaction.
