Abstract:Obj ective:To know about the clinical characteristics of sleep disorders and the level of quality of life (QOL)in patients with Parkinson’s disease (PD),so as to probe into the correlation between sleep disorders and QOL.Methods:A descriptive and correlative re-search method was used in this study.A total of 82 cases of PD pa-tients were surveyed by using Parkinson ’s disease sleep scale (PDSS)and QOL.Results:Suffered from incidence of sleep disorders in PD patients was 95.1%,total PDSS score was 96.91±24.48.The total PDQ39 score was 42.95±14.71.The main type of sleep disor-ders was “sleep maintenance insomnia”(84.1%)and “daytime do-zing”(82.9%).“Getting up at night to pass urine”was main factor that affected the sleep quality of the patients (86.8%).Spearman correlation analysis showed that the severity level of sleep disorders in PD patients was negatively correlated with their quality of life (rs=-0.481,P<0.01 ).Conclusion:Different types of sleep disorders could be found in PD patients. The more serious the sleep disorder in PD patients is,the worse their quality of life is.
