Abstract：Obj ective:To probe into the correlation between quality of life and social support of enterostomy patients.Methods:A total of 80 cases of enterostomy patients who were in Outpatient follow up of the hospital from March to December in 2012 were taken as the ob-j ects.The social support rating scale (SSRS)and the Chinese version of EORTC QLQ C 30 were used to assess the social support and qual-ity of life of the patients,and the statistical analysis was carried out for the obtained data.Results:The quality of life of colostomy patients was in poor condition universally.It was positive correlation with the three dimensions of the social support (P<0.05).The quality of life of en-terostomy patients with higher social support is higher.Conclusion:The good social support can effectively improve quality of life of the enterostomy patients.
