Influence of humanistic care on quality of life of breast cancer patients receiving postoperative radiotherapy

Abstract：Obj ective:To probe into influence of humanistic care on quality of life for patients with breast cancer receiving postoperative radiotherapy. Methods:A total of 80 breast cancer patients who accepted postoperative radiotherapy were randomly divided into control group and intervention group,40 cases in each.Patients in control group used conventional care of breast cancer patients receiving postoperative radiotherapy,besides that the humanistic care was used for patients in intervention group,the quality of life rating scale (QOL)was used to assess and compare the quality of life of patients between both groups.Results:The quality of life of patients in intervention group was higher than that in control group and the difference between them was statistically significant (P<0.01).Conclusion:The hu-manistic care can release the adverse reactions and psychological pressure of breast cancer patients who accepted postoperative radiotherapy and im-prove their quality of life.
