Application of family centered care and continuity of care in children with non severe asthma
Abstract：Objective:To observe the application effect of family cen-tered care and continuity of care in children with non severe asthma. Methods:A total of 1 1 0 cases of children with non severe asthma were divided into control group and observation group,5 5 cases in each.Pa-tients in control group received routine pediatric care,patients in observa-tion group received “family centered”care and continuity of care,then to compare the hospitalization time,hospital costs,treatment effect,par-ents’anxiety self rating,quality of life and so on between two groups. Results:There was statistically significant difference in hospital stay, hospital costs,parents’anxiety self assessment and quality of life be-tween both group (P<0.05).Conclusion:Implementation of the “fami-ly centered”care and continuity of care can shorten the hospital stay, reduce hospital costs,disease recurrence and parents’anxiety,AND im-prove the quality of life of children.
