Speaker Recognition Based on Hierarchical Clustering Algorithm

Abstract：In the traditional speaker recognition system,it is time-consuming to match features of the test speaker with speak-er models one by one in testing stage,especially for large population speaker recognition,which will reduce the recognition speed of the system.In order to address this issue,the paper studies the distance measure in model clustering and proposes a hierarchical clustering algorithm.According to the experimental result,the proposed method can greatly improve the recognition speed of the sys-tem effectively in the recognition stage.
