Analysis of Beamforming Based on Real Signals

Abstract：In this paper,the performance of several beamforming methods based on array signal covariance matrix is analyzed in detail through theory and simulation.In view of the difference and correlation between the real signal and the covariance matrix of the corresponding analytic signal,the differences in azimuth-estimation of common beamforming techniques are compared in de-tail,and the necessity of the analytic signal covariance matrix in beamforming is verified.
