A Study of Language Emotion Recognition

Abstract：Speech emotion recognition is an important and challenging research question. This paper presents a study aimed at improving the accuracy of language emotion recognition. This study describes the English language sentiment using the two-dimen?sional emotional space model of potency-activity,and uses the staged approach based on Gaussian mixture model and support vec?tor machine to measure the emotional valence(positive and negative emotions)and emotion Activation(emotional intensity)for classification and identification. Finally,experiments show that the algorithm can identify different emotions expressed in English more correctly.
