Abstract：A novel error control coding scheme embedding Raptor codes is proposed for on-off keying(OOK)based on visible light communication(VLC)systems. To achieve required illumination performance,diming control is integrated into the proposed scheme,combining scrambling and compensating symbols. With embedded Raptor codes,the proposed scheme has low overhead, high efficiency,robust anti-interference and low complexity. Compared with the existing error control schemes of VLC system,the proposed scheme is more robust and practical.
