Testing Methods Research of Wide-Amplitude ADC Error Correction

Abstract：To improve the accuracy of wide-amplitude ADC testing results in IC,this paper has designed peripheral circuits of wide-amplitude ADC testing,and the system's error source induced by peripheral circuits is analysed. Further more,this paper re?searched algorithm of error's rectification and compensation,and it has increased the testing accuracy of wide-amplitude ADC in IC. Analog source is used to import ramp signal into wide-amplitude ADC as well as high precision ADC by peripheral circuits,amend error of output digital code and eliminate system's error. we have confirmed the reliability and accuracy of this algorithm at the e-scale mixed-signal test equipment Catalyst-200. The experimental results show that the method effectively improve the testing ac?curacy of wide-amplitude ADC,and guarantee the reliable testing results of wide-amplitude ADC.It provides strong practicability and broad market's foreground.
