Study on Fault Diagnosis Method of Power Grid Considering State Evaluation of Relay Protection

Abstract：With the rapid development of the smart grid,the power grid to hide the fault handling and diagnosis to have better adaptability and accuracy. In order to judge the complex fault of power system,this paper mainly focuses on complex fault diagnosis model of power grid and discusses the objective function,and puts forward the research of complex fault diagnosis which takes relay protection state assessment as objective. A fault diagnosis model of power grid is established. According to the model,the failure mode of relay protection is taken into account in the evaluation of the objective function. The genetic algorithm is used to obtain the optimal solution,and the fault is diagnosed by the evaluation result. At last,the complex fault diagnosis system of on-line power grid is developed by using the proposed model and algorithm. The system is proved to be reasonable and practicable.
