Modeling and Simulation of the Front Axle Auxiliary Drive System Based on AMESim

Abstract：AMESim simulation software was used to establish model of front axle auxiliary drive system and simulation was car-ried out. In order to verify improvement of vehicle traction performanceafter opening of auxiliary drive system,three models includ-ing front Axle independent drive,rear axle drive,front and rear axle drive were simulated and compared. It showed that improve-ment of vehicle traction performance and increase of output torque were detected by opening of auxiliary drive system.
