A High-Efficiency Design for Route Planning Based on Transportation Cost Computation

Abstract：Traffic transportation planning is an important approach to optimize and configure the traffic resource. As to large lo-gistics transportations,how to minimize the cost of logistics transportations within the limitation of time constrains is the target for many logistics companies. Based on GIS technology from Google Maps,this paper presents the transportation cost computation framework and the tool for large logistics with the basic mechanism and implementation method illustrated. The experiment verifies the usability and validity of the tool.
