A Three-band High-gain Universal Double-ridged Horn Antenna

Abstract：This paper introduces the double-ridged horn antenna which can be used in C,X,Ku-band radar receiving system,the antenna has small volume,wide frequency bandwidth and high gain.According to the structure of the antenna analysis of the relevant properties of ridge waveguide,horn and horn ridge structure segment size curve,the calculation method of the antenna-related parameters is given.Simulation results show that the input return loss is less than-9dB within 5～18GHz bandwidth,and at 6GHz,10GHz,15GHz frequencies,the antenna gain is greater than 15dB,and there is no clear division of the main lobe.
