Wavelet Image Fusion Algorithm Based on Contrast

Abstract：Image fusion can integrate redundant and complementary information from multiple source images for increasing the comprehensiveness of image understanding and obtain a more accurate and reliable image of the same scne. Traditionally,fusion rules of wavelet image fusion is processing low-frequency and high-frequency coefficients separately and ignored the contact. The paper defines a contrast for contacting them,which is used as the measure to select the coefficient during image fusion. Experimen?tal simulation studies show that no mater in terms of subjective or objective evaluation the algorithm of this paper can get good effect in image fusion result.
