Urban Traffic Monitoring System Based on Internet of Things

Abstract：In view of the deteriorating traffic congestion in urban areas ,this paper designs a real-time traffic monitoring system .This system applies the RFID technology of the Internet of things to identify real-time information of vehicles ,and establishes a traffic information collection network with sensor nodes vehicular nodes and sink nodes .This traffic information collection networkcan realizes the identification ,transmission and integration of vehicle position and speed ,through which the goal of monitoringroad traffic and positioningreal time vehicle information can be achieved .This real-time traffic monito-ring system can lay a foundation for urban traffic intelligent guidance .
