Traction Induction Motor Direct Torque Control Strategy

Abstract：In Asynchronous traction motors actually operation ,it faces with frequent starting ,acceleration and bra‐king ,which requires higher dynamic response ability for control system .Based on analysis of traction induction motor mathe‐matical model ,direct torque control strategy is introduced .The operating region of asynchronous traction motor has been di‐vided between different operating conditions .Three‐level direct torque control system is simulated in Matlab ,the results show that the three‐level direct torque control technology can solve the problem of speed adjustment ,and has better dynamic performance .
