Handwritten Numeral Recognition Based on BP Neural Network

Abstract：Handwritten numeral recognition has been a hotspot of pattern recognition research field for many years while the BP artificial neural network is one of the most widely used neural network models .A simple method of numeral recognition based on BP neural network is proposed with the combination of the above two softwares and Matlab software . The simulation experiment results show that the method is very practical with its effective recognition and high accuracy .
