Improved Knowledge Reduction Algorithm Based on Positive Region and its Application

Abstract：The definition and algorithm of decision table and knowledge reduction based on positive region are given . For the shortcomings of this algorithm ,an improved algorithm is presented to accomplish reduction consisted of a considera-ble number of attributes .Through its application of the system of electrical appliances selling ,redundant or relevant attrib-utes are removed ,dealing data is largely reduced and the system of decision information is simplified .
