Abstract:In order to remove fine particle effectively, the particle size was analyzed through Mastersizer 2000 and low pressure impactor. The effects of wet phase transition condensate dust removal system on fine particle agglomeration and removal efficiency were investigated using numerical simulation method. The fine particle at the inlet of system was collected. The structure chart showed that there was only one crest and the crest value was 2. 5μm. There were two crests and the crest value was 2,30μm when the sample was collected in the middle of system which indicated that the process existed significant agglomeration. The system worked better for the particle whose size was below 10 μm. For each size fraction, the removal efficiency was above 70%,even above 85% for 0. 1 to 1 μm particle. The wet phase transition condensate dust removal system was much better than traditional dust removal system. The tube rows accelerated the aggregation of fine particles.
