Case study on directional grouting technology for dynamic water sealing in deep high-confined water roadways
GAO Xiaogeng
Abstract:To address the challenge of large-scale sudden outbursts of deep high-confined water in the 430 middle section cavern, this study comprehensively employed theoretical analysis, numerical simu-lation,field test observations, and on-site monitoring to conduct a detailed analysis of the water inflow pathways in the water-conducting roadway. The relationship between the construction process of the water-blocking section and the dynamic water flow velocity was determined.A strategy of"roadway sealing first, followed by source treatment"was formulated, with strict control over drilling parameters, material feeding parameters, and grouting parameters during the treatment process. The constructed water-blocking section achieved a length of 629 m,resulting in a 94.5%reduction in resid-ual water inflow post-treatment,demonstrating significant water-sealing effectiveness. The research outcomes provide practical experience and technical support for the rapid and efficient sealing of high-confined water in deep bedrock roadways under similar conditions.
