Discussion on the safety factor of the suspension steel wire rope for the tunnel boring machine of kilometer vertical shaft

Abstract：Through the analysis of the working conditions of the suspension system of the tunnel boring machine in a kilometer-level deep vertical shaft,and by comparing with the technical requirements of the permanent hoisting system in the mine and the steel wire ropes of large cranes,the reasonable val-ue of the safety factor for the suspension steel wire ropes is proposed.The safety conditions of the sus-pension steel wire ropes in the accident state of the hoisting suspension system of the tunnel boring machine in a kilometer-level deep vertical shaft are verified,and the reliability of the safety factor val-ue is verified.Under the premise of ensuring construction safety,the investment in the suspension system is saved,and the operating power consumption is reduced.
