Design and application of curtain formed by single hole pouring concrete for water plugging and fire extinguishing

Abstract：In order to extinguish fire quickly and effectively in Xunyi Qinggangping Coal mine,two boreholes were designed.Borehole No.1 is located at the top of the haulage roadway,and the sealing material(concrete)is poured into the roadway to form a curtain through the vertical drilling on the ground to achieve the purpose of water plugging,air isolation and fire control development.Borehole No.2 is located at the top of the air return roadway and adopts the vertical drilling method on the ground in order to observe the rise of the water level of the roadway,observe the gas composition and test the fire extinguishing effect.
