Study on the test method of VOC in acidic components of filling and sealing materials

Abstract：In order to determine the VOC content of acidic components in filling and sealing materials,the total volatile substances and water content were studied according to GB 18583 standard.Through the influence of drying temperature and time on total volatile content,the suitable test conditions of total volatile content of acidic components were determined.The water content of filling and sealing material was tested by selecting suitable neutral agent.On the basis of stable and reproducible test da-ta,VOC content data of acid components in filling and sealing materials were obtained.The VOC val-ues of the acid components in the filling and sealing materials were measured,ranging from 77.7 g/L to 206.5 g/L.The results reflect the harmful gas content difference between acid components.The test method can be used to test VOC content and evaluate safety parameter of polymer products used in coal mine.
