Main methods and status of seismic research on underground metro stations

Abstract：The earthquake failure mechanism and response characteristics of underground structures in recent decades were reviewed,and the different forms of earthquake damage caused by different types of underground structures were explained.In this paper,the main seismic research methods of under-ground structures were summarized,and the research progress of seismic performance of metro struc-tures was reviewed from the aspects of analytical method,numerical simulation and model test.At the same time,it pointed out the existing problems and the lack of consideration in the seismic resistance of metro underground stations,and put forward the future research direction.
