Rapid Driving Technique of Large Cross Section Full Seam Gateway

Abstract：No.100502 coal mining face was a first high cutting fully mechanized coal mining face in Yitang Mine.The length of the coal mining face was 180 m,the pushing length of the coal mining face was 1 100 m and the average mining height designed was 4.8 m.The air intake and return gateway of the coal mining face was designed as a rectangular cross section.The width of the gateway was 5 m and the height was 3.8 m.With the bench method construction technique of the twice completed drifting and the rational arranged organization applied,the available construction machinery equipment could be effectively utilized.Meanwhile the contradiction between the water detection and discharging and the rapid driven gateway could be solved.Thus the construction speed of the gateway could be speeded up,average month driving rate could be 350 m and a safety,excellent quality,rapid and high efficient construction could be realized.
