Abstract：A ground freezing reinforcement method is an important construction method in the shield tunneling break-in and out engineering.A review and summarization was conducted on the ground freezing reinforcement method of the shield break-in and out related to the applied study status on the design calculation method of the freezing reinforcement mass,the vertical freezing temperature field and the horizontal freezing temperature field theory as well as the freezing soil curtain thickness and average temperature calculation.The paper analyzed the shortages of the present study and provided the proposals on the study on the ground freezing method of the shield break-in and out.
