Analysis on Physical and Mechanics Features of Artificial Freezing Rock in Yili Xiaoxi Mine

Abstract：An experiment study was conducted on the physical and mechanics features of the freezing rock from a mine shaft of Xiaoxi Mine in Yili Mining Area .The thermal conductivity coefficient ,spe‐cific heat capacity and other thermal physical parameters of the major layer and the uniaxial compres‐sive strength ,elastic modulus and other mechanics parameters under the -5 ,-10 and -15 ℃ freezing status were obtained .A comparison analysis was conducted on the physical and mechanics features of the rocks under the conventional temperature and the low temperature status and could provide the references to the design and construction of the mine shaft freezing project in the region .
