Construction Technology of Passing through Old Roadway Safely and Fast via Fully-mechanized Excavation

Abstract：When the rock roadway is through above the old roadway (the minimum net pile is less than 5m) during fully - mechanized excavation in coal mine .Due to the impact of the fully mechanized coal winning machine repeatedly rolling floor ,it may lead to caving of the old and square roadway roof dur-ing the excavating process ,causing accident .By the application of blasting driving step method in the fully - mechanized excavation ,reserving the steps of surrounding rock artificially and increasing the distance of net piles ,it can reduce the risk coefficient of the caving of roadway roof below .After the a-melioration of the excavation process ,the passing construction of old roadway could be completed rap-idly and safely using fully - mechanized excavation step method in construction on site .
