35 Years’ Development of Mine Construction and Geotechnical Engineering Professional Committee

Abstract：Mine Construction & Geotechnical Engineering Professional Committee of China Coal Socie-ty was established in January 1980 ,this is the 7th session. It is a learned society for scientific and technical workers from coal ,metallurgy ,nonferrous metal ,chemical industry ,non-metallic ,nuclear industry ,municipal engineering ,subway ,traffic ,hydroelectricity ,underground engineering and oth-er fields. Each year ,a National Mine Construction & Geotechnical Engineering Symposium is organ-ized. After 2001 ,the National Mine Construction Symposium united the Mine Construction Academic Committee of China Coal Society ,the National Colleges and Universities Mine Construction Academic Committee and the Jiangsu-Shandong-Anhui-Hebei-Xuzhou “Four Provinces One City” Mine Con-struction Academic Committee to hold 15 symposiums. It is an important stage for spreading new technologies and crafts ,and it has a huge role in promoting mine development ,underground geotech-nical engineering construction in China.
