Discussion on the Cooperation of Freezing and Excavation in Shaft Sinking by Freeze Method in Deep Alluvium

Abstract：The contradiction between freezing and excavation is always more prominent in shaft sinking by freeze method in deep alluvium.Combined with the construction experience of completed shaft , Longgu North Ventilation Shaft which constructed by freeze sinking method in 675.6-meter-deep allu-vium in Shandong Province ,East China ,some relevant problems between freezing plan and construc-tion of excavation and lining were analyzed ,and engineering experience of freezing and excavation co-operation was introduced ,simultaneously some recommendations were put forward. The paper can pro-vide references for the freezing design and construction of excavation and lining of shaft in deep alluvium.
