Abstract:In order to analyze the safety of the outer wall of main shaft during sinking by freeze sinking method in Yangcun Coal Mine ,field measurement and analysis of the 327 m ,380 m and 426 m three levels’ freezing pressure were carried out. The results showed that :① Freezing pressures of the first and third test level increased rapidly after outer walling concrete being poured for 7 to 14 days ,which reached 69. 7% ~ 72. 72% of the maximum value on the 7th day and reached 87. 9% ~ 90. 9% of the maximum value on the 14th day. The early load of outer walling is particularly evident. Therefore ,it is recommended using the strength value of concrete being poured for 14 days to check outer walling strength of freezing shaft in deep clay stratum. ②Due to strengthen the freezing measures being used before excavation in the second test level ,the temperature of shaft wall was very low ,the growth rate of freezing pressure became slower. ③ The relationships between freezing pressure P(MPa) and the depth H (m) of three test levels were 0.010 1 H ,0.012 1 H and 0.012 9 H respectively. Therefore ,at present ,freezing pressure value is smaller while designing the outer walling for freeze sinking in deep clay stratum about 400 m ,it is unfavorable for the safety of outer walling.
