Controlled Grouting Technology Applied to Handle Water Disaster Accident Occurred from Fully Mechanized Coal Mining Face

Abstract：In Yitang Mine of Shanxi Kaijia Energy Group ,during the mining forward process of No.100302 fully mechanized coal mining face ,a hidden sinkhole was exposed.After the coal mining face flooded as the floor broken through Ordovician limestone water ,a controlled grouting method in the underground mine was applied to seal the water flow channel. Thus there were 94 sets of the pow‐ered supports ,two sets of the scraper conveyors and one set of the double drums coal shearer rescued from the coal mining face and those equipments were all well in condition and the total value of the equipments was over RMB 30.00 millions. This set a record with no coal mining equipment damaged as the underground grouting method applied to handle the flooded accident of the fully mechanized coal mining face.
