Repair and Reinforcement of Air Returning Gateway in No.82 Mining Block of Yuandian No.2 Mine

Abstract：There was a high mine ground pressure in the air returning gateway of No.82 mining block in Yuandian No.2 Mine.After a section construction with the bolt/steel mesh/shotcreting support , there was a high deformation occurred in the gateway and a repair and reinforcement should be con‐ducted.According to the certain condition , with the finite element analysis ,a bolt/grouting/steel mesh/shotcreting combined support plan was set up to repair and reinforce the gateway.After the re‐pair and reinforcement construction ,the deformation of the gateway was obviously reduced and the gateway was in stable and could meet the ventilation requirements of No.82 mining block.
