Abstract：T his paper presents a research on prediction of fault structure at the coalface based on mathe-matical analysis.On the basis of demonstration of Panji No.3 Mine’s fault occurrences and displace-ment that was already reveled at the coalface ,the mathematical model is built which is applied to pre-diction of fault structure.Finally ,the fault structure of the virgin coal reserves is predicted scientifically.
