Abstract: After a conventional lining and excavation construction applied to a mine shaft sinking of a mine auxiliary shaft at a depth of 130m in Xinzhuang Mine and a ground freezing construction method was applied to replace the conventional mine shaft sinking? According to high difficult ground freezing and other problem of a water bearing strata with high water flow ,with proper increased freezing tube number ,max deviation control of the borehole drilling ,proper increased freezing tube diameter ,brine flow increased at a initial freezing period and other measures ,as well as the rational adjustment and control conducted on the brine temperature and flow ,the freezing construction mission was successful ly completed?Meanwhile a thermal insulation borehole layout was applied to the 130m depth mine shaft liner constructed and with the multi adjustment and control measures of the comprehensive ther mal insulation protection measures conducted to protect the mine shaft in order to avoid a failure by a frozen—heave force? Expected results were obtained.
