Study on Retarded Cement Grout Material Applied to Seal External Annular Space of Freezing Pipes

Abstract：In a full depth freezing construction method ,there would be a sealing problem of the annular space between the freezing pipes and freezing borehole and a retarded cement grout material was deve-loped .With the study on the cement retarder affected to the cement grout setting time ,a rational mi-xing ratio of the cement retarder was determined .The sodium bentonite and suspension agent mixed in the retarded cement grout could control the settling performances of the retarded cement grout and could be a retarded cement grout material with a good retarded effect ,homogeneous density and high later strength to meet the requirements of the retarded cement grout performances at the site construc-tion .The retarded cement grout was applied to the mine freezing shaft sinking project of Dahaize Mine with an excellent effect.
