Discussion on Problems of Mine Construction in Western China

Abstract：In combination with some problems occurred in a construction process of Menkeqing Mine , according to the mine construction problems in Western China ,the paper discussed a selection of the mine shaft sinking plan ,a determination on a structure form of the mine freezing shaft wall ,treatment of drilled boreholes ,soft rock support and others.According to the weak cemented stratum in Inner Mongolia and other Western China ,the ground freezing method was firstly selected and a feasibility study on the mine shaft full face drilling technology of the mine shaft drilling method was conduc-ted.T he paper proposed that a new rapid excavation and lining technology suitable for the large diame-ter deep mine shaft should be researched and developed and the performances of the available mine shaft sinking equipment should be improved. According to the geological conditions and the mine roadway cross section features ,a mechanized construction operation line should be rationally coordina-ted to promote the improvement of the construction technical level for the mine deep shaft and the mine roadway.Meanwhile ,a study on the support mechanism of the soft rock in Western China should be conducted to determine a rational support method and parameters and to fully improve the con-struction safety and economic benefit.
