Advance Grouting Reinforcement and Heading Support Technology of Adit in Fine Sand Layer

Abstract：In a construction of a fine sand layer in a section from 240~843m of a belt conveyor adit of Xiayukou Mine ,an advance grouting reinforcement with a small diameter pilot pipe and a short sec-tional excavation and support were applied.A combined support with 29U type steel support+steel bar mesh+shotcreting was applied.An average month heading of over 60m was obtained and a max month heading of 80m was obtained.A roof leakage and falling accident was fully eliminated and a safety and rapid construction was realized.The paper stressed the introduction on the design of the advance grou-ting reinforcement ,construction technology and the construction effect of the section in the adit.
