Abstract:Aiming at the energy efficiency issues in the production process of anode carbon for aluminum, the potential of waste heat from calcination and roasting processes is explored, and targeted waste heat recovery schemes are proposed. The results show that the annual revenue from calcination flue gas power generation and heating of heat transfer oil is as high as 18.9 million yuan, the annual revenue from circulating cooling water supply for heating and cooling is 1.442 09 million yuan, and the annual revenue from the utilization of waste heat from calcination of anode carbon blocks is 2.759 76 million yuan.It is theoretically feasible to calcine flue gas by using low-temperature waste heat recovery technologies such as the organic Rankine cycle(ORC).The research plan is conducive to improving energy utilization efficiency, creating economic benefits, and providing a reference for the aluminum anode carbon industry to achieve efficient energy utilization and reach energy-saving and emission reduction goals.
