Strategy and practice of reducing carbon content in boiler fly ash based on combustion optimization
ZHANG Hongxing
Abstract:The carbon content in boiler fly ash is a key indicator for measuring combustion efficiency.Excessively high carbon content in fly ash can lead to resource waste, increased costs, and reduced thermal efficiency, among other issues.Taking the No.1 and No.2 boilers of a certain power plant as the research objects, aiming at the problem of high carbon content in their fly ash,the causes are analyzed from aspects such as coal type characteristics, air distribution mode, oxygen content control and pulverizing system, and measures such as optimizing coal blending, adjusting the secondary air ratio, determining the optimal oxygen content and improving the pulverizing operation are proposed. The results show that these measures have significantly reduced the carbon content in fly ash, effectively improved the thermal efficiency of boilers, reduced operating costs and environmental pollution, and are of great significance for energy-saving and consumption reduction in power plants.
