Abstract:To study the influence of the change in thermal insulation performance after wall damage on building energy consumption,a two-dimensional unsteady heat-moisture coupling transfer mathematical model with cracks is established. In this model, the cracks are regarded as wet air regions. The capillary diffusion of liquid water and the binary diffusion of water vapor are considered, and the hourly solar radiation estimation model is introduced as the second type of boundary condition.Based on the principles of conservation of energy and conservation of mass, and taking temperature as the driving potential, the heat and moisture transfer equations between humid air and building materials are established.Numerical simulation is carried out with the help of COMSOL Multiphysics software, and the accuracy of the model is verified through the HAMSTAD benchmark case.Studies show that solar radiation intensifies the degree of mutual promotion of heat and moisture transfer and accelerates the process of coupled heat and moisture transfer by raising the surface temperature of walls.Cracks have a significant increasing effect on building energy consumption.
