Abstract:Based on the principle of similarity, salt water experiments are used to explore the influence of different source parameters on the hierarchical distribution of thermal buoyancy in space in different geometric shapes and courtyard models, and to analyze the differences and connections between the thermal stratification based only on the initial hierarchical modeling and the actual thermal stratification at the interface positions within the atrium. The results show that the smaller the source parameters are,the closer the thermal delamination approaches the bottom in a shorter dimensionless time. The internal thermal stratification of atriums with different geometric shapes has different development strategies. In the early stage of thermal stratification development, the boundary position of the square atrium is closer to the bottom. However, with the passage of time, its thermal stratification development gradually tends to be consistent with that of the cylindrical atrium.
