Abstract:In order to increase the wind power generation, the wind turbine sweep area can be increased(lengthening the blade)or the fan control can be adjusted(such as pitch angle changes). The wind power curve and the comparison of annual power generation were obtained by optimizing 1.5 MW wind turbine and blade lengthening for a wind farm in Ningxia. The results show that the blade length of the fan increases from 42.8 m to 43.5 m,the blade tip folds, and the power generation of the fan increases by 5.35%.Under strong wind, the absolute pitch is adjusted from 0° to-1°,and the power generation of the fan increases by 2.48%.Combining the two strategies, the overall power generation of wind turbines increased by 7.83%.This research is of great significance for improving the energy efficiency of onshore wind turbines.
