Abstract:To address the issue of high energy consumption in wastewater treatment plants, the analytic hierarchy process(AHP)was introduced to construct an evaluation system.Due to the scarcity of quantitative data in the evaluation system, the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method was incorporated for optimization. This system was applied to assess a specific wastewater treatment plant. The results indicated that the proportions of excellent ratings in the plant's treatment energy consumption, water consumption, chemical consumption, and environmental factors were 9.32%,47.35%,59.32%,and 0,respectively.The plant performed well in terms of chemical and water consumption, with average performance in environmental factors. The treatment energy consumption was rated as satisfactory. The overall electrical energy consumption of the treatment plant is relatively high and requires improvement. The research provides a reference for the assessment of energy consumption in wastewater treatment plants and suggestions for energy-saving improvements.
