Analysis of the pollution characteristics and pollution process of near-ground ozone in Xingyi City

Abstract：Based on the environmental air quality monitoring station data from 2017 to 2023 in Xingyi City,the characteristics of ozone concentration changes were analyzed,and a typical ozone pollution process was examined.The results show that the ozone concentration in Xingyi City was relatively high during the summer from 2017 to 2023,with ozone pollution weather mainly concentrated in April.During an ozone pollution process that occurred on April 13,2023,in Xingyi City,the main reasons were the influence of unfavorable meteorological conditions and high concentrations of precursors.The implementation of energy-saving and emission-reduction measures can significantly reduce the emissions of VOCs and NOx,thereby reducing the potential for ozone formation.
