Analysis of carbon emission issues and emission reduction strategies in typical steel enterprises in the southern Jiangsu Region

Abstract：The iron and steel industry is an important basic industry of China's national economy and also an important source of carbon emissions in China.Promoting the steel industry to achieve carbon peaking as soon as possible and effectively reducing carbon emissions is an important task to support the implementation of the national carbon peaking and carbon neutrality targets.This article takes a typical iron and steel enterprise in southern Jiangsu as the research object,analyzes its problems in carbon emissions,and proposes carbon emission reduction countermeasures from adjusting process structure,energy structure,blast furnace feed structure,increasing the proportion of clean energy,improving system energy efficiency level,carbon footprint evaluation,etc.
