Experimental study and diagnostic parameters analysis of air conditioner refrigerant leakage

Abstract：In view of the problem of refrigerant leakage affecting the operation of air conditioner,the experimental tests were carried out on different refrigerant leakage levels,air conditioner cooling capacity,air outlet temperature,system parameters,and compressor winding temperature under different operating conditions,and the selection of refrigerant leakage diagnostic parameters was analyzed.The results show that when the refrigerant leakage level is more than 50%,the cooling capacity is reduced by more than 62%,and the outlet air temperature is increased by more than 7.64℃.The inlet temperature and suction temperature of evaporator have higher refrigerant leakage sensitivity than other system parameters.From the perspective of refrigeration effect and compressor protection,the refrigerant leak diagnosis should be started when the leak is 40%to 50%.
