Abstract:The opening degree of the electronic expansion valve affects the refrigerant flow in the refrigeration system, thereby influencing the refrigeration performance of the refrigeration system. In a standard enthalpy difference laboratory,a medium-pressure supplementary gas type refrigeration system test bench was constructed to study the impact of the setting value of the main valve superheat degree and the opening of the supplementary valve on the refrigeration performance of the system. The results show that when there is no supplementary gas and the opening of the supplementary valve is 0,the best refrigeration performance of the refrigeration system is achieved with a setting value of 6 K for the main valve superheat. In the case of medium-pressure supplementary gas and a setting value of 6 K for the main valve superheat, when the opening of the supplementary valve increases from 5%to 20%,the compressor discharge temperature decreases by 2.52%to 6.16%,and the compressor power increases by 0.81%to 1.57%.When the opening of the supplementary valve is 10%,the refrigeration capacity is the highest at 4.12 kW,and the COP is the highest at 1.66.The study indicates that the optimal refrigeration performance of the refrigeration system is achieved when the setting value of 6 K for the main valve superheat, and opening of the supplementary valve is 10%.
