Abstract:The screw chiller + boiler system in a park in Zhengzhou City was replaced with the ground source heat pump system of medium and deep groundwater + two-stage plate heat exchanger + double-effect heat pump unit, and the ground source heat pump system has good performance. The economics of the two systems were analyzed, and the initial investment cost and annual operating cost of the two systems were compared using the static payback period analysis method. The results show that the initial investment of the ground source heat pump system is 4.431 million yuan higher than that of the screw chiller + boiler system, and the annual operating cost is about 955 000 yuan lower than that of the screw chiller + boiler system, and the total investment amount of the screw chiller + boiler system after about 4.6 years can be equal to the total investment amount of the ground source heat pump system. The study indicates that in terms of long-term return on investment, compared with the screw chiller + boiler system, the ground source heat pump system has a higher economic value and is more energy-efficient.
